Pushing the boundaries is in Master's DNA. Having been present from coast to coast for some time, we can now say that we are also present beyond the border.

The Master Group is excited and proud to announce its entry into the United States with the acquisition of Value Added Distributors (VAD) based in Richmond, Virginia. VAD has been in business for many years and is a respected HVAC solutions provider with 19 branches accross 6 states. Viewed as a true growth platform for Master, VAD will continue to operate independently and will build a solid foundation for the growth of both companies in the United States.

Why did The Master Group choose VAD? Our two companies have over 100 years of combined experience and similar cultures.

The relationship between VAD and The Master Group dates back more than 35 years, beginning with the meeting of Ken Baker, CEO of VAD, and Louis St-Laurent. Like The Master Group, VAD shares the same values, from operational practices to respect for its employees and customer service. Like Master, VAD has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and together we will partner to build an even stronger company, both organically and by increasing the size of their operational footprint through future acquisitions.
