The diffusion tube has been designed to surpass the technical limits of the traditional air diffusion systems.
Its operation is based on the principle of induction. The air propelled through small diameter cylindrical openings produces an effect of air-entrainment in the perimeter of the blast.
Similar to a train locomotive to which cars are attached, the surrounding air is induced in the air stream at the exit of holes and mixed to it. The induced air quickly mixes in the air supply, which has the direct effect to homogenize quickly the air, reducing considerably the temperature differences in occupied zone.
The induction thus created can reach 30 to 40 times the air supply of the ventilator upstream the tube.
