Great culinary talents were unveiled at Masters 2013 Suppliers Event on August 29. This year, over 130 participants donned their aprons to take on the BBQ Challenge a competition worthy of the best culinary reality shows. With creativity and much talent, the teams competed to put together a Gourmet BBQ meal fit for a 5 Star restaurant.
A special guest was also part of the menu: none other than the “grill master” himself, Chef Steven Raichlen, internationally renowned BBQ specialist. Mr. Raichlen advised the participants throughout the competition and, alongside our President, Louis St-Laurent and CEO, Michel Ringuet, tasted each dish to determine the winning team. The event also helped raise donations totaling $2,500 for the Tel-Jeunes foundation
