How to subscribe to the Advanced Shipping Notice service

Master offers a simple way of subscribing to Advanced Shipping Notice. Just follow these easy steps, according to your situation:

I already have a dealer account on master.ca

Go on your Account Settings page. Check Advanced Shipping Notice box. You can register 2 members of your company. Take this opportunity to update your file and click on Submit.

I don’t have a dealer account on master.ca

Go to the Registration page, select the Registration Request button. Fill out each field and make sure to check the Advanced Shipping Notice box. You can register 2 members of your company. Complete form and click on Submit.

I am not yet a client of Master

In the first place you must be a client of The Master Group L.P. To request the opening of an account click here. Fill all fields and send us the original by mail.  Master reserves the right to accept or decline any request to open an account, based on its sales and credit policies.

What is the Advanced Shipping Notice?

Subscribing to Advanced Shipping Notice allows you to automatically receive an email stating the tracking number of your shipment as soon as your order has been shipped. With this number, you can follow the status of your order until final delivery.

When will I receive the Advanced Shipping Notice?

The notice for all carrier deliveries is sent at 7PM and for those with the Master Group trucks, at 7AM.

I do not receive the shipping notice for certain orders.

A shipping notice is sent only for orders leaving our main distribution center which is located at 1675 de Montarville blvd, Boucherville, Québec.

I do not receive any shipping notices. 

Since the Advanced Shipping Notice emails are sent via an automated system, it is possible that they end up in your junk mail box. To prevent this from happening, it is important to add the sender asn@master.ca to your trusted list of contacts and this directly in your email service or any other electronic mail monitoring service.

The same tracking number is stated many times on the Advanced Shipping Notice.

Frequent posting of the same tracking number corresponds to the number of pieces shipped.
Example: For a 3 skid shipment, your tracking number will appear 3 times.

Certain carriers do not have sites which allow you to track shipments on line. In such cases, if you require information regarding your delivery, you must contact the carrier directly by phone.

How can I unsubscribe to the mailing list?

In the My account menu, select Profile. Uncheck the Advanced Shipping Notice box.
Please allow 48 hours before your access is deactivated.
You can also write to asn  and ask to be unsubscribed.

The carrier selected does not offer tracking of your shipment via the web

The Master Group works with suppliers which offer a dedicated shipping service to meet your expectations. However, despite their expertise in the field, some of them do not offer the ability to automatically track your shipment via the web.
