The Energy Efficiency Week, from November 24 to 30, is an initiative of Quebec’s Ministry of Natural Resources to remind Quebecers that it is essential to take action and be energy efficient in their travels, at home, at work and even in their recreational activities. You should also take action:  get rid of your old energy consuming heating system and thereby increase your own comfort level.

Master Group recently signed a distribution agreement with Viessmann, world leader of commercial and residential boilers and solar thermal systems, for the entire Québec territory.

Commitment in terms of social responsibility and protection of the environment is a concern for The Master Group. In collaboration with the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition, Master has offered a scholarship of $5,000.00 to Felix Robert, a student of Quebec’s Université Laval. This scholarship program is designed to enable students to engage in research work with the potential to reduce financial barriers or techniques for the development and advancement of geothermal energy in Canada. Master’s ventilation sector continues to grow with the signing of an important distribution agreement for the vast majority of its territory with NAD Klima, a creative and innovative Québec company, dedicated to the development of high efficiency air management solutions. Hundreds of unprivileged children will receive a visit from Santa this year. Master’s 460 employees have joined forces to collect new toys and bring the magic of Christmas in the lives of over 150 children. The drive was conducted in November across the Master network in a gesture of solidarity and generosity, to conclude with an important wrapping session where a personalized gift package was prepared for each child. This first edition of the Master Christmas Workshop is a great success, and marks the start of a beautiful Christmas tradition.

Since September 2nd The Master Group welcomes its Québec City customers in a brand new branch which has been completely transformed. The expansion work began in the spring of this year and gave birth to a modern, spacious and bright environment.  With its 30,000 square feet, it is the largest installation throughout the Group’s network of branches.
The new branch has been designed and built based on the growing needs of our Québec City customers and includes a modern layout and new furnishings. Mr. Michel Ringuet, Master CEO, has recently accepted the Presidency of la Fondation Tel-jeunes. For over 5 years, The Master Group LP has supported Tel-jeunes, serving as a beacon to Quebec’s youth since 1991.

“As a company, we have a responsibility to participate in the welfare of the community” notes Mr. Ringuet. “Several reasons prompted us to support Tel-jeunes, first the desire to equip the next generation with the proper tools and to support them in times of distress and ensure them balance and growth.

Each year, this organization makes a difference in the lives of close to 85,000 young people of all origins and walks of life. The organization is made of exceptional individuals, dedicated to their cause and who deserve our full support.”

LigneParents and Tel-jeunes are free, confidential, resources which have been supporting Quebec’s youth and parents for 30 years with problems such as violence, isolation, sexuality, suicide and anxiety among the young generation.

The Foundation will soon launch “Jamais seuls” the largest fundraising campaign in its history. This campaign, which will run until 2015, aims to ensure the sustainability of Tel-jeunes and to allow the service to continue to adequately meet the growing needs of young people and their parents.

The Master mobile homepage suggests 8 options to visitors including access to products in our 5 different departments (Residential, Commercial & Industrial, Ventilation, Heating and Refrigeration), latest news on the company, career opportunities and contact information and addresses of all our branches.

m.master.ca users have complete access to all products offered on the classic version of the company’s website, as well as descriptions, specifications and related documents. We are very happy to announce that WaterFurnace, our geothermal supplier, has been honoured at the latest edition of the Dealer Design Awards as a recipient of two first places. The Versatec Ultra Series won the honours in the Commercial Equipment category and the Envision NXW Series climbed the highest step of the podium in the Commercial Equipment category. “This is a nice looking product with great retrofit possibilities.
