Master launches its new employment site

The Master Group has launched its all new employment site. Several options are now available to job seekers: In addition to easy navigation through the latest job opportunities available in the area of their choice, they can create their profile by focusing on their strengths and skills, apply online, submit a spontaneous application, and more. Candidates can also subscribe to RSS feeds, get phone support for technical problems and share job offers through the web.
The rapid growth of our business and personnel recruitment needs represented a growing challenge in application management. The new system now offers Master’s Human Resources department access to the best candidates, automated posting of jobs on external bulletin boards, parsing of resumes, and much more.

Inventory Clerk job offered by Master

The Master Group is currently looking for a candidate to fill a new position within its team.
The ideal person for this job must like to:
- work in close collaboration with branch colleagues on all inventory aspects;
- supervise and control physical inventory countdowns in branches;
- provide branch trainings with regards to internal controls and company procedures;
- be responsible for the application of internal measures, company policies;
- and much more.
The selected candidate:
- must have at least 2 years of experience in this field ;
- is bilingual ;
- is familiar with Office softwares;
- is available to travel a few times a year.

This week, Master launched a York promotional campaign called “Trash that old heat pump” in the Quebec market. During the month of October, home owners with a heat pump of over 10 years old, are invited to participate in a contest for a chance to win a brand new York high efficiency heat pump, installation included or , as a secondary prize, a trip for two to New York City. Total value of these prizes over $10,000. This offensive is supported by a promotional campaign on the radio and internet, including highly rated stations in the greater Montreal & Quebec areas and on rds.ca.

WaterFurnace honored at the 2010 Dealer Design Awards

We are very happy to announce that WaterFurnace, our geothermal supplier, has been honoured at the latest edition of the Dealer Design Awards as a recipient of two first places. The Versatec Ultra Series won the honours in the Commercial Equipment category and the Envision NXW Series climbed the highest step of the podium in the Commercial Equipment category. “This is a nice looking product with great retrofit possibilities. It’s a good size for retrofit – small and compact” said one contractor judge. “The ability to provide hot and chilled water simultaneously provides an excellent alternative.”
